Originals and Prints
Caroline Watson’s landscape works are abstract and impressionistic, not tied to a single place but to a feeling. Inspired by moments noticed on dog walks — the play of light across fields, the sway of flowers, the shifting sky — these pieces explore atmosphere rather than accuracy. Through expressive colours and skies that are not bound to day or night, they evoke mood, memory, and the warmth and wonder of nature.
In contrast, her wildlife originals and prints lean towards realism, focusing on the fine details and quiet strength of birds and animals. Every feather, glance, and texture is carefully considered to reflect the presence of these little watchers of the natural world.
